What we are

Can I Be Debt Free is a UK consumer information website operated by MAIVERO LIMITED. We publish free factual information and browser-based tools about debt and common debt solutions.

What we are not

We are not a debt advice firm. We do not assess suitability for an IVA, DRO, DMP, bankruptcy or another debt solution, and we do not tell you which route to choose.

Why the distinction matters

The FCA says firms giving debt advice must be appropriately authorised, while lead generators that are not authorised should limit themselves to basic debt information and factual product information before directing people towards authorised or licensed advice.

Commercial relationships

At launch, this website does not sell consumer debt leads and does not receive referral fees from the free debt help organisations it lists. If that changes, we will update our disclosures and privacy information before the change takes effect.
